💼 Job Description
Lead our AI Platform team to make Airwallex a truly AI-driven company. You’ll own strategy, roadmap, and execution — building and scaling the core AI infrastructure that powers innovation, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Set and execute the AI vision & roadmap aligned to business goals
- Build and mentor a world-class team of engineers and AI specialists
- Partner with Product, Design, and Ops on high-impact AI solutions
- Own architecture, quality, reliability, and security of all AI services
- Stay hands-on: guide designs, review models/APIs, champion LLMOps best practices
- Own production health — monitoring, incident response, on-call
- Drive talent strategy and recruitment for the AI organization
✅ Requirements
- 10+ years in software engineering or AI/ML; 3+ years managing high-performing teams
- Deep expertise in Python, modern AI/ML frameworks (LangGraph, etc.), and cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
- Proven experience shipping scalable, reliable AI systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Passion for AI innovation and staying ahead of industry trends
