To support our client’s ambitious growth, we are looking for a passionate, commercial, talented, and ambitious individual to help grow their beauty brands. As a BDR for Indie boutiques, you will work closely with the Sales Director to help develop the brands in the US and Canada. You’ll be in charge of maintaining relationships with existing accounts as well as opening new ones. The brands to manage are AKT London and Floris London.
You’ll work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and have the opportunity to contribute to all functions of accelerating revenue with independent accounts such as perfumeries, apothecaries, and spas. In 2022, he branched out to pursue his own vision and created Climax Beauty, a wholesale accelerator. In 3 years, Climax Beauty has partnered with multiple beauty brands, supporting their North-American business and offering consulting services to those seeking guidance to grow their US and Canada presence.

Location:
Fully-remote, work from home, 9 AM – 5 PM EST.
Your Missions Will Include:
– Identifying potential new clients to partner with: For each state, research new potential accounts by looking at the brands they currently carry, the price point, etc.
– Once the list is created, contact prospects via email, cold calling, etc.
– Use various media channels such as social networks and magazines in creative ways to research new clients.
– Share your knowledge of the brands, providing key selling points to catch their interest and occasionally delving into details to answer specific questions.
– Manage the CRM pipeline with new prospects and review it weekly with the Sales Director.
– Suggest an opening order: retail products, testers, sampling, etc., including creating a personalized offer with free SKUs vs. billed ones.
– Organize and deliver training sessions with clients.
– Execute retail marketing to make launches a success (windows, sampling, partnerships, etc.).
– Identify any additional support needed to secure business.
– Update and maintain the CRM with new leads and accounts.
– Update reporting for each brand daily and review it with the Sales Director weekly.
– Collaborate with the sales and accounting teams to monitor open orders and ensure all purchase orders are shipped as scheduled.
– Assist with various ad-hoc projects as needed.
Skills Required
– Flawless written and spoken English as the role is 100% in English.
– Excellence in sales, with proven success in working with independent accounts.
– Experience in consulting with business owners and creating strong relationships with partners.
– Experience with Faire is a huge plus.
– Strong entrepreneurial spirit, able to work independently within a small team.
– Sell-in and sell-through oriented.
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines.
– Structured mindset with a high ability to multitask.
– Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
– High IT literacy, especially in Excel and Outlook.
– Strong interpersonal skills.
