ROLE OVERVIEW
The Web Developer will play a key role in building and maintaining high-quality digital experiences that reflect craftsmanship and creativity. Working closely with designers and engineers, this role focuses on front-end excellence, from responsive design to performance optimization, while bringing innovative, user-centered ideas to life.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional setup.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Development & Implementation
– Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, including building Gutenberg blocks and performing site maintenance.
– Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using HTML, CSS, SCSS, and Vanilla JS.
– Implement A/B testing and front-end optimizations to enhance user experience and conversion performance.
– Ensure responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility across all web projects.
Collaboration & Project Execution
– Partner with designers and engineers to translate project requirements into functional, visually compelling websites and applications.
– Manage multiple concurrent development projects while maintaining quality and timelines.
– Suggest improvements to development processes and contribute ideas for design or performance enhancements.
Quality Assurance & Maintenance
– Conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards, structure, and consistency across projects.
– Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
– Contribute to internal tooling by developing and maintaining shared libraries to streamline future development work.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
– 3–4 years of hands-on front-end development experience (HTML, CSS, Vanilla JS).
– Proven background in PHP and WordPress development (custom themes and Gutenberg blocks).
– Experience with A/B testing, UI optimization, and responsive design.
– Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Svelte, or Vue (considered a plus).
– Comfortable working remotely within cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects independently.
