Role and Responsibilities
As a Payments Manager (EMEA), you will accelerate the adoption of WalletConnect’s payments stack across payment service providers, fintechs, and enterprise clients in the EMEA region. You’ll lead strategic partnerships, define go-to-market strategies, and contribute to the evolution of blockchain-based payment solutions.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with PSPs, acquirers, and fintechs.
- Drive adoption and revenue through an effective partner pipeline.
- Negotiate commercial deals and oversee integrations.
- Promote WalletConnect at fintech and crypto events.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align customer feedback with innovation.
- Monitor payment trends and regulatory shifts across EMEA.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of EMEA payments systems, SEPA, open banking, and FX.
- Track record in managing partnerships with PSPs and fintechs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; regional languages are an advantage.
