## Job Role
Clipboard Health seeks Payroll Administrator for growing People team. Responsible for preparing payroll and presenting for final review to Payroll Executive and Head of People.

Main Responsibilities:
– Prepare payroll for two groups semi-monthly: prorating new hires/terminations; review/approve/process pay changes; prepare off-cycle; add variable payments bonuses/overtime/commissions/reimbursements.
– Resolve payroll questions/concerns/disputes via internal desk.
– Maintain payroll records.
– Manage tax notices/business registrations.
– Support finance with auditing/investigations.
– Support miscellaneous payroll projects.
– Contribute People team objectives/goals.

What Success Looks Like:
3 months: Prepare/reconcile accurately/on time few errors; follow process approvals timely; assist team accurate processing; contribute improvements time/process; build understanding payroll flows support inquiries.
6 months: Prepare/reconcile 100% independently; no inconsistencies approvers; own inquiries; support reporting/analysis; trusted resource investigate/resolve independently.

## Qualifications
– 3+ years payroll/payroll-adjacent (accounting).
– Proficiency Excel/Google Sheets (VLookUp/XLookUp/CountIFs/SumIFs/pivot etc).
– Basic payroll: deductions/reimbursements/garnishments/tax filings/registrations etc.
– Extreme detail/high standards.
– Ownership/accountability/initiative.
– Resourceful/organized/solution-oriented.

Nice to Have:
– CPP certification.
– Payroll outside US.
– Employment/tax/finance regs understanding.
– Accounting exp.
– Basic finance P&L/gross/net revenue/OPEX/accruals etc.

Schedule: 9am-5pm PST preferred/flexible timezone; plan time off around payroll deadlines.
