Job DescriptionSafety and Security SupervisorThis position is based out of our Technology Center in Bangaluru, Karnataka, India.We are Wayfair. The position will plan, coordinate and resource appropriate supplies, training and policies to prevent and mitigate risks from threats and injuries. This individual will be part of a dynamic team whose mission is to provide world class support to our partners. In addition, the individual will work on building and expanding the safety and security program and supporting the Global Safety and Security Team at Wayfair.What Youll DoBe an experienced leader who leads from the front and sets the example with the highest standards of discipline and professionalismPartner with the Global Safety and Security Field Operations and the Safety Compliance and Standards Teams to support in in executing Global Safety and Security initiativesPerform daily functions of the lead officer by monitoring alarms, access control, CCTV and events that may impact Wayfairs operations and assets.Review, analyze, and escalate issues to help mitigate threats to Wayfair’s employees, property, and partners in Bangaluru and other sites across the globeBuild and lead a safety and security program to ensure fully trained security coverage 24/7Coordinate responses to incidents or crisis events that occur or could potentially impact Wayfairs operationsPerform key duties and be the key point of contact for first responders in the event of an emergencyMaintain detailed records of communications and events, including incident tracking and case managementMaintain effective working relationships with regulatory agencies, industry security and life safety professionals, vendors, and suppliersManage and handle sensitive incidents while maintaining the companys and affected individual’s confidentialityManage a group of Corporate Security Officers and coverage schedules to support hours of operations at Wayfairs Technology Center in Bangaluru. Remote support to locations in Vietnam, Malaysia, and China.Occasional travel to, but not limited to the United States, Europe, Vietnam, Malaysia, China.What Youll Need10+ years of experience working in a safety and security function, preferably in a physical security role or setting (either government or private sector)Ability to work in a flexible schedule environmentFamiliarity with access management technologies such as Lenel and Google SuiteAbility to multitask in a fast-paced work environment, think through problems, and make sound decisions under pressureMust have the ability to communicate both written and orally with applicable stakeholders and represent Wayfair to external parties such as law enforcementExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong decision-making ability during both crisis and non-crisis situationsMust be able to stand and or walk in a variety of weather and terrain conditions for shifts up to 10 hoursMust be able to lift and hold 15 pounds.Be able to work effectively in office and outdoor environments with hot and cold conditions, as well as loud noisesAbility to travel within your assigned area of responsibility. What Youll Do

What Youll Need
10+ years of experience working in a safety and security function, preferably in a physical security role or setting (either government or private sector)
Ability to work in a flexible schedule environment
Familiarity with access management technologies such as Lenel and Google Suite
