💼 Job Description
Work with our largest merchants to dramatically improve authorization rates, reduce fraud, and boost payment performance. High-impact, highly visible role based in New York.
- Analyze merchant payment data to surface optimization opportunities
- Design and deliver standardized performance improvement methodologies
- Lead customer discussions on performance insights and action plans
- Train internal commercial teams and build tooling
- Feed merchant feedback into Product roadmaps
- Support external partner engagements (card networks, issuers)
✅ Requirements
- Prior experience in payments (must-have)
- Strong SQL and analytical horsepower
- Outstanding communication — client-facing and executive presentations
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to structure ambiguous problems
- Experience as an optimization consultant in payments a big plus
