Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for G&A and GTM roles in Japan
- Partner with business leaders to forecast hiring needs and build pipelines
- Represent OpenAI with cultural fluency in Japan’s market
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Compensation, and Legal
- Leverage sourcing strategies and market insights to attract diverse talent
- Act as trusted advisor to hiring managers on interview best practices
- Build recruiting operations and infrastructure in new international markets
Qualifications
- 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-growing companies
- Experience hiring across Sales, G&A, and business teams in Japan
- Fluency in both Japanese and English with cross-cultural awareness
- Experience building recruiting operations in new international markets
- Familiarity with ATS tools (Ashby, Greenhouse) and sourcing platforms
- Detail-oriented with strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Energy for building and improving processes in new markets
