About company
Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level. Snowflake is the Data Cloud, a global network where thousands of organizations mobilize data with near-unlimited scale, concurrency, and performance.

Role
Inside Snowflake, the Developer Platform team is on a mission to win the hearts and minds of developers by making it seamless and intuitive to build with data. Our vision is to empower data engineers and app developers by delivering an exceptional, developer-first experience built on a foundation of simplicity, familiarity, and ease of use. This is a role for a seasoned product leader who is passionate about defining the strategy for the foundational tools and infrastructure that power the developer experience on Snowflake. As a Senior Product Manager on the team, you will take full ownership of the vision and strategy for how developers connect to and interact with the Data Cloud. You will be responsible for a complex and mission-critical portfolio of products at every stage of the lifecycle—from mature, widely-adopted products like our Drivers and Terraform provider to new and growing offerings like the SnowCLI and our core APIs. You will partner with senior engineering leaders to define a multi-year strategy, drive a concrete roadmap, and ship products that solve fundamental developer challenges at scale. As a Staff Product Manager on the Developer Platform, You Will: Own the vision, strategy, and execution for a critical pillar of the Snowflake Developer Platform, encompassing our drivers, clients (Terraform, SnowCLI), and core APIs. Manage a diverse product portfolio, developing strategies tailored to each product’s maturity: driving reliability for mature products, accelerating adoption for new products, and helping define our investment strategy for Snowflake’s extensive 3rd-party ecosystem. Decompose large, complex problem spaces into a clear, prioritized, and multi-year roadmap that aligns with company-level strategy and higher-level goals. Become the recognized subject matter expert and thought leader for your product pillar, serving as the go-to resource for engineering, marketing, sales, senior leadership, and the developer community. Define, evangelize, and analyze the key metrics that measure the health, success, and adoption of your products, making data-driven decisions to guide their evolution. Drive alignment across the organization, navigating dependencies, anticipating risks, removing obstacles, and helping resolve conflicts to move your team and projects forward. Partner closely with and provide mentorship to other product managers in your pillar, acting as a strategic lead to ensure the overall success of the team. Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Developer Relations to ensure the appropriate positioning, enablement, and go-to-market strategy for your portfolio.

Qualifications
Our Ideal Product Manager Will Have: 8+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of shipping complex, developer-facing platforms, cloud services, or technical infrastructure products. Experience managing the full lifecycle of a product portfolio, from 0-to-1 incubation to scaling and maturity. Deep expertise and a strong understanding of the modern software development lifecycle, including API design principles, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform). The ability to be a “technically credible partner” to senior engineering leaders, capable of leading deep discussions about product architecture, technical trade-offs, and long-term vision. Deep empathy for developers and a passion for anticipating their broader needs and eliminating frustrating workflow challenges. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to present to large, complex audiences and influence stakeholders across all functions and levels of the organization. A strong conviction on product direction, with the ability to create a compelling logical roadmap with crisp articulation and justification.

Benefits
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake. Benefits include competitive salary, equity, health insurance, and professional development opportunities.

Tips to get interview
Showcase your experience in developer platforms and cloud services. Prepare to discuss technical trade-offs and product roadmaps. Highlight any mentorship roles or cross-functional collaborations. Research Snowflake’s Developer Platform and be ready to propose ideas. Tailor your application to emphasize empathy for developers.
