The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Appian Consultant to join our remote team in a full-time position supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This is a future opportunity that will be filled through a proposal process. You will work in a supportive team environment focused on your professional growth and success as a function of delivering exceptional client outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and understand diverse user requirements, designing and developing effective solutions in Appian to address complex business needs
- Deliver complex development assignments efficiently and comprehensively while maintaining high quality standards
- Demonstrate increasing quality, speed, and overall productivity in Appian development work
- Work independently and collaboratively within a small team setting to achieve project objectives
- Present solutions and findings to product owners and stakeholders
- Contribute to agile development processes and participate in sprint planning and execution
Required Skills & Experience
- 1-2 years of professional software development experience, with preference for prior Appian exposure
- Strong understanding of agile project methodologies and ability to deliver working code within sprint cycles
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and effectively within team environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality assurance
- US Citizenship (required for this position)
