About the Role

We're seeking a Product Engineer to join our small, dynamic San Francisco-based team. This in-person role offers the opportunity to wear multiple hats, interact directly with customers, and shape the future of our data infrastructure product. You'll work at the forefront of distributed systems, infrastructure, and data engineering.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Engage with technical customers and engineering teams to streamline workflows and improve product UX
• Build new platform features such as column exclusion, encryption, schema change alerts, and advanced data replication capabilities
• Improve internal tooling and build automation to accelerate feature shipping and infrastructure management
• Contribute across the full stack, from backend services to frontend interfaces

What We're Looking For

• Strong fundamentals in computer science or related field with proven ability to ship products
• 4+ years of web development experience, preferably at startups
• Pragmatic mindset: prioritize building the right thing over being right
• Versatility across the stack with ability to own features end-to-end
• Passion for creating easy-to-use, extensible products
• Proficiency in Go preferred but not required
• Willingness to work in-person 5 days/week in San Francisco's Financial District

• Backend: Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch
• Infrastructure: Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, GCP, AWS

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $150K–$215K USD annually (depending on experience)
