About the Role
Join charity: water as a Key Relationships Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting our frontline fundraising team. Reporting to the Vice President of Key Relationships, you'll manage administrative operations, project coordination, and donor relationship logistics that enable our team to focus on building transformational partnerships with major donors.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage and respond to donor inquiries and FAQs through customer service platforms
- Manage administrative tasks including data entry, Salesforce list exports, meeting facilitation, and prospect research
- Execute project management for both one-time and ongoing internal team initiatives
- Master and maintain Salesforce, Zendesk, Notion, Jira, iWave, and Keynote to ensure accurate donor data and streamlined operations
- Develop creative donor appreciation strategies, write personalized thank you notes, and coordinate VIP gifting requests
- Coordinate printing, shipping, and logistics for team and supporter communications
- Support planning and execution of donor trips and regional fundraising events
- Develop expertise in charity: water's programmatic impact and stay current on global Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) initiatives
What You Bring
You have up to 2 years of relevant administrative or fundraising support experience and bring exceptional organizational skills. We're seeking candidates with:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications (preferred)
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities (written and verbal)
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong multitasking and prioritization capabilities
- Problem-solving mindset and collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Genuine passion for charity: water's clean water mission
- Proficiency with tools such as Keynote, Notion, Jira, Basecamp, or Zendesk
Ideal Candidates Also Have
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced nonprofit environments
- Salesforce CRM expertise
- Familiarity with frontline fundraising team operations
