About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to help build our Public Sector Sales team and cover the State and Local Government (SLED) market. The ideal candidate will possess both sales and technical background, enabling them to drive engagement at all levels with technical and non-technical buyers.
As an SLED Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive account and territory plan while driving sales in a defined territory and/or account list to achieve revenue targets. You will assist in creating and articulating compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services to government entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop existing and new accounts within assigned SLED territory
- Execute territory and account plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Build and maintain relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders across state and local government organizations
- Create and present compelling value propositions tailored to public sector needs
- Collaborate with Solution Engineers and Customer Success teams to ensure customer adoption and satisfaction
- Support the development of the Public Sector Sales team strategy and best practices
About the Department
Account Executives, Channel Account Managers, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and Sales Operations teams work together to help customers adopt Cloudflare and create great Internet-enabled experiences. The sales team helps customers solve real technical problems while creating revenue streams that support free service to millions in the community.
