About Altruistiq

Altruistiq builds sustainability software for large enterprises, helping companies measure and report carbon emissions, manage supply chain sustainability data, and meet regulatory requirements like CSRD. Our customer base includes some of the largest food and beverage companies globally. We operate in the enterprise software space with complex sales cycles, significant contract values, and multiple stakeholders in every deal. Our go-to-market strategy is built around account-based marketing (ABM) and account-based execution (ABX).

The Role

We are hiring a Director of Marketing to own the complete marketing function at Altruistiq. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be accountable for company pipeline targets, leading the marketing team, and serving as part of the commercial leadership group alongside Sales and Customer Success leadership.

A clear ABM/ABX strategy already exists, built around a Demand Unit Waterfall framework. You will build and execute a plan to deliver on this strategy while owning and evolving it over time based on market insights and performance data.

This is a hands-on role. While you will lead a small team, you will spend meaningful time in the work itself: writing content, building campaigns, and operating within Pardot and Salesforce. If you have managed marketing exclusively through other people in recent years, this role operates differently.

You must operate independently. While reporting to the CRO and collaborating with commercial leadership, you will need to make decisions, manage trade-offs, and represent marketing at the leadership table with confidence and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver against the company pipeline target shared with Sales
  • Develop, execute, and evolve the marketing strategy based on performance and market feedback
  • Define market positioning and messaging—how we talk about Altruistiq and why enterprises choose us
  • Lead and develop the marketing team covering Events and Demand Generation, with growth potential
  • Produce, direct, and manage content production across channels and formats
  • Build and maintain a structured customer proof point library for Sales and Marketing use
  • Execute account-based marketing campaigns coordinating events, digital, content, and outbound initiatives
  • Own the strategic integration of events and podcast assets into the demand generation engine to drive measurable pipeline
  • Manage marketing operations, reporting, and analytics to demonstrate ROI and inform strategy

What We're Looking For

You have experience as a marketing leader in B2B enterprise software, ideally in SaaS. You understand account-based marketing frameworks and can execute them effectively. You are comfortable being hands-on with marketing execution while also thinking strategically about go-to-market positioning and strategy.

You can operate autonomously, make decisions with incomplete information, and advocate for marketing priorities in a leadership team setting. You have strong writing and communication skills, experience with marketing automation platforms (Pardot/HubSpot), and CRM systems (Salesforce), and you understand how to measure and report on marketing contributions to pipeline and revenue.
