Role Overview

As a Billing Operations Analyst at GitLab, you'll support global billing operations across the order-to-cash process. This role focuses on billing execution from subscription validation and invoice generation through reconciliation and issue resolution. You'll help improve billing accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems while partnering with Deal Desk, Revenue, Sales Operations, Global Process Optimization, and Accounting Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review billing-related transactions and approve, adjust, or reject opportunities according to established guidelines
• Support subscription validation, invoice generation, and day-to-day billing execution across assigned billing queues and regional portfolios
• Process system workflows that sync quote and billing information between Salesforce and Zuora Billing
• Manage invoice reconciliation, troubleshoot billing discrepancies, and resolve customer billing inquiries with clarity and care
• Maintain strong data quality standards and support process improvements
• Document workflows and controls to ensure transparency in an all-remote environment
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline billing processes and enhance operational efficiency

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with Salesforce and Zuora Billing systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial operations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with billing operations, order-to-cash processes, or subscription management
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote environment
