The Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and scale our image capture and analysis platform. You will work across our entire technology stack—from edge devices and on-premise servers to cloud infrastructure and customer-facing web applications. This is a fully remote position for candidates in the Latin America region, working Pacific Time hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production software for edge devices, server infrastructure, and web applications
• Build and improve RESTful APIs connecting edge devices, servers, and web frontends
• Design and enhance user interfaces for our web platform that customers rely on daily
• Implement, manage, and optimize data processing and machine learning inference pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full hardware/software stack
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design features and solve complex technical challenges
• Contribute to code quality, testing standards, and architectural improvements

What We're Looking For

You are an experienced software engineer with strong expertise in full-stack development. You bring proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript), experience building scalable backend systems, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). You have proven experience with machine learning pipelines, API design, and frontend frameworks. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential. You're motivated by impact—building technology that solves real-world problems in sustainability.
