Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our US and international team members are paid accurately and on time. This role requires a versatile professional capable of executing US payroll within Workday while coordinating international payroll cycles through Papaya Global.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate international payroll operations across global entities, ensuring employee data, pay elements, and reporting align with internal processes
  • Perform payroll-related data management within payroll systems

  • Serve as primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, including pay discrepancies, tax elections, and benefit deductions
  • Maintain awareness of federal, state, local, and global payroll regulations while supporting compliance requirements in partnership with external providers
  • Generate comprehensive payroll reports from Workday, Papaya, and other platforms to support finance, accounting, and internal audits
  • Partner with the People Team to ensure employee lifecycle changes (new hires, terminations, compensation updates, leaves of absence) are accurately reflected across payroll systems

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of hands-on payroll experience with demonstrated proficiency in payroll processing and compliance
  • Strong expertise with payroll platforms (Workday and/or Papaya Global preferred)
  • Solid understanding of US federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
  • Experience with international payroll operations or multi-entity payroll coordination
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong reconciliation and audit skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills with the ability to serve as a trusted resource for employees and cross-functional teams

💰 Compensation Range: $65,000 to $75,000 base plus bonus and equity
