About This Role

As a Content Intern in Chemistry, you will work directly with our US Content team to develop, design, and enhance chemistry courses, lessons, videos, articles, and practice questions on Khan Academy's platform. This is a hands-on internship opportunity where you will gain comprehensive experience in educational content creation and digital learning design.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced Content Creators to develop, launch, and upgrade chemistry content across Khan Academy's platform
• Own and drive an end-to-end content project under mentor guidance, experiencing the complete content creation lifecycle
• Contribute to curriculum development and learning experience design that serves millions of students
• Participate in an Intern Learning Community to understand how educational technology teams collaborate across the organization
• Present your project outcomes through a culminating presentation at the internship conclusion
• Work on creating engaging educational materials including videos, articles, and interactive practice content

Compensation: $42/hour
Duration: 8 weeks, Summer 2026
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Mountain View, CA with Remote option available (Continental US + Hawaii)
