The Role

As a Content Team Intern, you will work directly with our US Content team, which includes curriculum developers who design and develop courses, lessons, videos, articles, and practice questions on Khan Academy. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced Content Creators to develop, launch, and upgrade content in your area of expertise.

• Work side-by-side with Content Creators on curriculum development and course content creation
• Own and drive a meaningful project under the guidance of a seasoned mentor, gaining end-to-end experience with Khan Academy's complete content creation cycle
• Develop and enhance educational materials including video content, articles, and practice questions
• Share your project outcomes through a culminating presentation at the internship conclusion
• Participate in an Intern Learning Community with colleagues across the organization
• Learn how different teams within an educational technology organization collaborate to design world-class digital learning experiences
• Contribute to content that serves millions of learners globally

Position Details

This is a summer internship opportunity for 2026 offering hands-on experience in educational content creation. You will receive mentorship from seasoned professionals and gain practical knowledge of instructional design, curriculum development, and digital learning platforms. The internship provides valuable exposure to how educational technology organizations operate and the collaborative processes required to deliver quality learning experiences at scale.
