The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Known, you'll work across diverse, project-driven initiatives within small, highly focused teams. You'll have significant influence over product direction, team practices, and the company's technical culture. This role offers continuous learning opportunities as Known regularly updates its tech stack to leverage industry-leading technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack web applications serving Known's innovative products
• Author FastAPI APIs and construct robust backend systems using Python
• Build scalable data pipelines and distributed systems architecture
• Develop modern web UIs using TypeScript and Vue.js
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Helm to Kubernetes clusters
• Manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform for cloud resource provisioning
• Contribute to open-source projects when interested (Known actively promotes open-source initiatives)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, designers, and strategists

Technical Stack

You'll work with Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, Vue.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform. The project-driven nature of Known's work means you'll continuously expand your technical expertise and learn new technologies.
