The Role: Architect of a Resilient Future
Marketerx is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps/Security Engineer to join our founding engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to architect the resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure foundation for our autonomous marketing platform from the ground up. As the first dedicated DevOps/Security hire, you will shape our infrastructure strategy and ensure our platform delivers enterprise-level reliability while making brilliant marketing effortless for thousands of businesses.
Your Impact
- Build the Bedrock: Design and implement a world-class, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles including Terraform and CloudFormation. You'll create the foundation that powers our platform's growth and reliability.
- Security First: Implement comprehensive security practices, compliance frameworks, and best practices across our entire infrastructure to protect enterprise customer data and maintain trust.
- CI/CD Excellence: Establish and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using modern DevOps tools and practices to enable rapid, reliable releases.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Architect and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure scalability, performance, and efficient resource utilization.
- Infrastructure Automation: Leverage Terraform, Ansible, and other infrastructure automation tools to create reproducible, maintainable, and version-controlled infrastructure.
- Observability & Reliability: Build comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to maintain high availability and enable rapid incident response across our platform.
About You
You are a visionary builder passionate about creating robust systems that handle enterprise-scale workloads. You bring deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, security practices, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles. Your experience spans AWS ecosystems, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps toolchains. You thrive in startup environments where you can wear multiple hats and directly impact the product's success.
