Contraceptive care is basic healthcare, yet too many patients in the U.S. struggle to access the care they need when they need it. Currently the largest contraceptive organization in the country, Upstream is improving contraceptive care in primary care settings across 37 states and Washington, D.C.

Position Summary
The Partnership and Community Engagement Lead plays a vital role in advancing Upstream's mission by supporting the Partnerships and Community Engagement team in cultivating and managing relationships with healthcare organizations and healthcare association partners. This position provides a blend of research, outreach, data management, and operational support to ensure effective recruitment, engagement, and partnership development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential healthcare partners, including federally qualified healthcare centers (FQHCs) and health systems
- Prepare compelling partnership materials and communications
- Track progress through the partnership pipeline using data management systems
- Support communications and events highlighting Upstream's work
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations and association partners
- Conduct research on potential partners and market opportunities
- Assist with operational coordination of partnership initiatives
About You:
This role is well-suited for an accomplished professional with solid organizational and relationship-building skills eager to expand their business development and healthcare engagement expertise. You are driven by impact and scale, with a passion for improving equitable access to reproductive healthcare.
Location & Travel:
Remotely based in the North Region of the US (EST and CST time zones preferred). Position requires 25% travel within the northern US region and 30% travel outside the region.
