Principal Full Stack Developer (TypeScript)

Your Mission

In this role, you will act as a technical leader, shaping the future of our platform and mentoring the engineers around you. You'll tackle our most ambiguous and challenging technical problems, ensuring our systems are scalable, reliable, and built for the long term.

Your mission includes:

• Driving technical vision and architecture for our core product, working closely with our ML team to integrate new AI features.
• Leading large-scale technical projects, such as evolving our monorepo strategy or migrating core services to new architectures.
• Mentoring senior engineers, elevating the team's skills through code reviews, architectural guidance, and establishing best practices.
• Partnering with product and engineering leadership to identify and de-risk technical challenges in the product roadmap for the next 1–2 years.

Your Profile

We're looking for a seasoned technical leader who is passionate about building great products and great teams. You'll be a great fit if you have:

• Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in software engineering, with a proven track record of architecting and delivering complex, scalable web applications.
• Deep, system-level expertise in our core technologies (TypeScript, Node.js, React) and the ability to reason about the entire stack, from the database to the browser.
• A history of leading complex technical projects and making critical architectural decisions.
• A passion for mentoring and technical leadership—you find joy in helping other engineers grow and elevating the technical bar for the entire team.
• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
