Why This Role Exists

We've built something customers genuinely love. Our proven, repeatable sales motion is ready to accelerate. We need an Account Executive who can find and close more customers in this high-demand market. You'll sell a product that actually works to buyers who've been burned by bad data before—it's a refreshingly honest pitch.

What You'll Do

First 30 Days: Learn the RevenueBase platform inside out through customer calls and shadowing. Close your first deal. Understand our ideal customer profile (ICP), competitive positioning, and what makes customers say yes.

Days 30–60: Own your full pipeline: prospecting, demos, negotiations, and closes. Identify repeatable patterns in what's working and feed insights back to product and marketing. Begin engaging with partnership opportunities.

Days 60–90: Hit quota, expand existing accounts, and contribute to the sales playbook. Actively work partnership deals—building pipeline and closing reseller agreements with companies who distribute RevenueBase data.

Who You Are

  • Data product experience: You've sold data products before and understand buyer skepticism, common objections, and the sales dynamics of this category.
  • Self-directed: You thrive without a playbook. You've built pipelines from scratch at early-stage companies and don't rely on BDR armies or marketing air cover to hit your number.
  • Full-cycle sales owner: You manage everything from prospecting through close, taking end-to-end ownership of your deals.
  • Partnership sales expertise: You have experience or strong aptitude for selling to companies who will resell your product. You understand reseller business models, co-selling dynamics, and structuring win-win partnerships.
  • Quick learner: You go deep on technical products and articulate value convincingly to both practitioners and executives.
  • Impact-driven: You want to be at a company where your work directly shapes business trajectory.
