Job Description

About Altruistiq

Altruistiq builds sustainability software for large enterprises, helping companies measure and report carbon emissions, manage supply chain sustainability data, and meet regulatory requirements like CSRD. Our customers include some of the largest food and beverage companies in the world. We operate with enterprise sales cycles, contract values, and multiple stakeholders involved in every deal, with a go-to-market strategy built around account-based marketing.

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Events Marketer to own and deliver Altruistiq's events programme and grow the State of Sustainability (SOSI) community. Events are not a support function here—they are the centre of a practitioner community built around sustainability leaders in enterprise companies. You will be accountable for executing our State of Sustainability Summits and managing the broader events calendar while growing and engaging the SOSI community across events, social, and digital channels.

There is a clear events strategy already in place, aligned with our account-based go-to-market approach. We need someone who can deliver these events at a high standard, ensure every event aligns with commercial objectives, and extend the reach and engagement of the State of Sustainability brand beyond the events themselves. The best events programmes create ongoing community, not just one-off attendance. That's what we're building.

This is a hands-on execution role. You will manage logistics, coordinate speakers, work with venues, run on-site delivery, and handle post-event follow-up. You will also build and maintain the State of Sustainability social media presence, promote events and podcast episodes, and create ongoing engagement that keeps sustainability practitioners connected between events. Close collaboration with other teams will drive attendance, coordinate demand generation promotion, and report on event and community performance against pipeline targets.

What You Own

  • State of Sustainability Summit delivery — end-to-end ownership of flagship events, including venue sourcing, speaker coordination, attendee experience, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up
  • Community growth and engagement — nurture the network of sustainability practitioners from enterprise companies, manage the community LinkedIn presence, and create touchpoints that keep Altruistiq front of mind
  • Events calendar management — coordinate regional events, webinars, and sponsorships aligned with commercial objectives
  • Social media strategy — build and manage the SOSI social presence to promote events, podcast episodes, and community content
  • Performance reporting — track event metrics, community engagement, pipeline contribution, and ROI

About You

You have proven experience managing B2B enterprise events at scale. You understand how to build community and create lasting engagement beyond single events. You are comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously—from logistics and vendor coordination to social media strategy and pipeline reporting. You can work autonomously, take initiative, and deliver polished execution. Experience in sustainability, enterprise software, or account-based marketing is a plus.

💰 Compensation not publicly listed. Market estimate for similar roles: from $80K, varying by experience and location.
