Senior Program Manager, Electronic Health Records (EHR) Modernization

Position Overview

MCD Global Health is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Senior Program Manager to lead a statewide Electronic Health Record (EHR) modernization initiative across rural healthcare providers in Maine. This strategic role combines program management, healthcare technology expertise, and policy coordination to drive transformational change in rural health infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end program design and implementation of a statewide EHR upgrade and replacement initiative for rural healthcare organizations
• Manage transparent and equitable Request for Proposal (RFP) and funding processes in partnership with the State of Maine
• Provide strategic and operational support to participating healthcare organizations throughout EHR selection, implementation, and integration phases
• Coordinate across state agencies, healthcare providers, technology vendors, and internal teams
• Address unique challenges facing rural healthcare providers and ensure equitable access to modern health IT infrastructure
• Bridge technical, operational, and policy perspectives to drive sustainable outcomes

You are a healthcare leader with deep experience in EHR implementation and integration across diverse healthcare settings. You demonstrate a strong understanding of rural healthcare challenges, operational excellence, and the ability to facilitate collaboration among complex stakeholder groups. Your background combines healthcare operations, health information technology, and program management expertise.

Location & Work Arrangement

Candidates should be based in Maine or willing to relocate. Please note that relocation expenses will not be covered.
