Senior Enterprise Account Executive - State and Local Government (Central Plains)

About This Role

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales growth across state and local government entities in the Central Plains region. This is a strategic sales position focused on building and expanding relationships with government organizations, understanding their complex needs, and delivering enterprise-level solutions that transform public sector operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory strategy targeting state and local government accounts in the Central Plains
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers in government organizations
• Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and procurement processes
• Identify opportunities for service expansion and upsell within existing government accounts
• Collaborate with ServiceNow solutions engineers, customer success teams, and partners to deliver comprehensive proposals
• Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting using CRM tools
• Conduct needs assessments and present customized solutions addressing government sector challenges
• Negotiate contracts and close enterprise-level deals

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience
• Proven track record selling to state and local government entities
• Deep understanding of government procurement processes and decision-making structures
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-deal cycles ($500K+)
• Strong consultative selling skills and account management experience
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Territory management and quota achievement history

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow platform or similar enterprise cloud solutions
• Familiarity with government sector compliance requirements
• Geographic knowledge of Central Plains region
• Experience in digital transformation initiatives
