Senior .NET Developer (German Speaking) – Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with fluent German language skills to join our distributed engineering team at SoftwareMind. This is a fully remote position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to impactful software solutions for international clients.

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications using the .NET framework. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing and deployment, while mentoring junior developers and driving code quality standards within your team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-level applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core, or .NET Framework)
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following SOLID principles and best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and solution design
• Communicate with German-speaking clients and stakeholders regarding project requirements and updates

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience developing with .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, or .NET Framework)
• Fluent German language skills (written and spoken) – essential for client interaction
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Background in agile development methodologies
