The Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java/SpringBoot) to join our Shopping team in Munich. You will be instrumental in helping consumers maximize value for their money by providing a world-class shopping rewards experience online and in-store. As a key part of our team, you'll be directly involved in building and enhancing the digital destinations our users rely on throughout their shopping journeys. Your contributions will help shape how millions of consumers interact with our platforms, guiding them to make smart, fair, and rewarding choices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern architectures using Java, AWS technologies, Microservices, NoSQL & RDBMS, and event-driven architectures
• Drive features and products end-to-end, from inception through delivery, within an ambitious and challenging product roadmap
• Lead technical initiatives that impact millions of users globally
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Java and SpringBoot
• Strong experience with AWS cloud technologies and microservices architecture
• Expertise in both NoSQL and RDBMS databases
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and distributed systems
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software at scale
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
• Experience working in cross-functional, agile teams
