About the Role

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated engineers to join our DATA organization and help build the future of data at Cloudflare. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex distributed systems challenges across different parts of our data stack. You will be responsible for the entire data lifecycle—from ingestion and processing to storage and retrieval—powering critical logs and analytics that provide customers with real-time visibility into the health and performance of their online properties.

Our mission is to empower customers to leverage their data to drive better business outcomes. We build and maintain a suite of high-performance, scalable systems that handle more than one billion events per second. As an engineer in our organization, you will directly impact systems processing massive data volumes at global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed data delivery pipelines with high-throughput, low-latency requirements
• Work primarily in Go to build systems handling massive data volumes
• Architect and maintain data ingestion, processing, and intelligent routing solutions
• Collaborate on analytics and alerting systems serving millions of customers
• Contribute to data storage, retrieval, and optimization strategies
• Solve complex distributed systems challenges across the data platform
