The Role

Culture Amp is seeking a VP, Global Commercial Sales to lead the charge in helping new businesses build a better workplace. This is a mission-critical role essential to the long-term success of the business. Working directly with the Chief Revenue Officer, you will evolve the Commercial Sales Team globally as the company moves through its next period of growth.

The Commercial segment is a critical driver of Culture Amp's mission to amplify the experience of 100 million people at work. This is not a typical sales leadership role—you will drive results with a Culture First, equitable mindset while growing the team and expanding Culture Amp's global reach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an inspiring second-line leader to a growing team of 40+ commercial sales professionals globally across North America, EMEA, and APAC, managing new logo and expansion sales for companies with 100-1,000 employees
  • Actively contribute to and lead the global commercial sales strategy, including defining annual and quarterly goals to drive recurring revenue from new and expansion customers in the Commercial segment
  • Partner with leadership to create reliable, scalable sales processes that drive sustainable growth and define the next chapter of the business
  • Coach and inspire Commercial sales leaders to grow and amplify their teams, fostering career development across regions
  • Drive a predictable sales model that enables accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on demand generation initiatives, inbound and outbound programs, and customer acquisition strategies to achieve high conversion rates
  • Partner closely with Product leadership on Commercial customer needs to inform product roadmap and customer experience enhancements
  • Work with sales and customer success leaders globally to ensure regional alignment, inter-market collaboration, and career development opportunities
  • Identify, attract, and develop talent to build a high-performing commercial sales organization

Location & Work Arrangements

This role is based in Culture Amp's San Francisco, Chicago, or Austin hub locations. Candidates must be located in one of these hubs, comfortable working in the office 1-2 days per week, and willing to travel globally up to 30% of the time.

The ideal candidate brings extensive sales leadership experience, strategic thinking, and a genuine commitment to building equitable, high-performing teams. You should have a proven track record of scaling commercial sales organizations, developing sales strategy, and driving predictable revenue growth. Experience managing global teams across multiple regions is essential, as is the ability to collaborate across functions and influence without direct authority.
