The Role

We're seeking an experienced Designer with strong visual taste to drive creative initiatives across web and brand. As a key member of our internal creative agency (the Magic Team), you'll help communicate Linear's story—what we're building and why it matters. This is a position for someone who can pick up any design problem and solve it with excellence. At Linear, both how something works and how it looks matter equally. As a developer tool where speed, interactions, and small details are critical, we expect a broad set of design skills and the ability to create high-quality designs, interactions, and prototypes.

What You'll Do

• Partner with developers to build website and landing pages that showcase product capabilities
• Work with marketing on branding initiatives that communicate our vision and values
• Collaborate with other designers and copywriters to develop integrated marketing concepts that extend across various channels
• Create interactive web experiences that reflect Linear's commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience leading and designing interactive web experiences
• Excellent visual, UI, motion, and interactive design skills
• Strong eye for good design, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine passion for the craft
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first environment
• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work and problem-solving ability

Location & Work Mode

Linear is a remote-first company. This role is open to candidates based in North America or Europe time zones, with flexibility to work from anywhere within those regions. We value deep focus and asynchronous collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel.
