The Role

As a Customer Solutions Engineer (CSE), you will be the technical heartbeat of the customer journey. You'll serve as the trusted technical advisor throughout the lifecycles of select Mid Market customers, leveraging your expertise to ensure they understand and utilize the Cloudflare Connectivity Cloud platform to its fullest extent. Your primary goal is to help customers succeed and derive maximum value from their Cloudflare investment.

While you'll support the entire Cloudflare stack—including core Security and Performance suites—you'll serve as the team's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cloudflare's Developer Platform. You'll bridge the gap between traditional networking and modern serverless development, helping customers migrate legacy logic to the edge computing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as trusted technical advisor for Mid Market customer accounts throughout their lifecycle
  • Develop deep understanding of customer requirements and issues at the molecular level
  • Identify root causes of complex technical problems and implement elegant, efficient solutions
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Cloudflare's Developer Platform and edge computing services
  • Support customers in migrating traditional logic to serverless and edge architectures
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support teams
  • Drive scalable solutions across the organization to address customer needs
  • Provide technical guidance on Security, Performance, and Connectivity Cloud offerings
