The Opportunity

We're seeking a talented Full Stack Software Developer to join our Software team and help design, build, and evolve the core applications powering STATSports products across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. This is a product-focused role where you'll take ownership of features end-to-end—from backend APIs and data models through to high-quality, user-facing experiences. You'll work closely with Software Architects, Product Owners, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions used at the very top of sport.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Hungary, with a desired start date of March/April. If you enjoy solving complex problems, taking responsibility for what you build, and seeing your work make real-world impact, this role will suit you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, test, and support full-stack applications using ASP.NET Core and Angular across web, desktop, and mobile environments
• Lead the implementation of complex features, from API design and backend services through to responsive, high-performance front-end experiences
• Work closely with Software Architects, Product Owners, and Senior Engineers to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver high-quality, usable, and performant interfaces
• Own API architecture, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented
• Design and manage data models and databases, optimising for performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices
• Support production systems and respond to technical issues with professionalism and diligence

What We're Looking For

You bring strong software engineering fundamentals and proven experience building full-stack applications. You're comfortable working across backend and frontend, understand API design principles, and have experience with modern databases. You take pride in writing clean, maintainable code and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. A background in sports technology or performance systems is a plus, but your passion for solving complex problems and delivering impact matters most.

💰 Compensation: 1M–2.2M HUF per month. Market estimate for similar roles in USD: from $115K, varying by experience and location.
