The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive business expansion at Pearl. This is a dynamic position combining phone-based selling techniques with online demonstrations, pipeline management, and new deal sourcing. You'll play a key role in building Pearl's sales pipeline while contributing to a positive, collaborative sales culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Pearl's products and services using comprehensive knowledge and consumer research to explain how our AI solutions meet customer needs
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and identifying potential new sales opportunities
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects, engaging account executives in next steps
  • Identify best practices for refining lead-generation playbooks using HubSpot, cold calls, and email outreach
  • Identify prospect needs and recommend appropriate products or services
  • Build trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as legitimate sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the dental technology market
  • Schedule meetings and calls between prospective customers and sales executives
  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to sales management
  • Occasional travel as needed

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Sales Experience: 1+ years in sales development or related sales role (dental industry experience is a plus but not required)
  • Lead Generation: Demonstrated proficiency in lead generation, qualification, and pipeline management
  • Sales Mindset: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about sales with strong work ethic
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with proven capacity to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • CRM & Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software (particularly HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Intellectual Agility: Strong desire to learn and apply AI-driven solutions to operational challenges, with comfort in rapid iteration and pivoting based on new information
